GAMMA asked to develop the packaging for a new high pressure cleaner range. A private label introduction in a category where brands with strong quality and reliability perception are often chosen over price positioned models.

The power of the machine determines the purpose of use. The power indicator (Bar) was used by the design team as a strong recognizable element for consumers to quickly identify a comparable alternative to its competitors. As the competitors packaging has a strong functional approach, Gamma have chosen for a more emotional photographic approach in which the machine plays the most important role with a clear expression of power and the intrinsic quality of the product.

The packaging design is a convincing factor for consumers when purchasing a product. Within 6 months, 3 out of 10 sold high pressure cleaners is a GAMMA PL high pressure cleaner. A 30% rise in market share.
